Perlite Concrete is rich in properties and here are a few of them.
Ultra-lightweight
Lightest of all lightweight aggregates, Perlite concrete in comparison to ordinary mortar, brickbat or concrete weighs 3-15 tonnes less depending on the design mix.
Superior Thermal Insulation
With thermal conductivity as low as 0.08 W/mk, Perlite offers 20 times better thermal insulation properties than ordinary concrete, reducing thermal losses from/to upper/lower floors and cost of cooling.
Non-flammable / Non-combustible
Unlike EPS/XPS, Styrofoam, Perlite concrete is non-combustible and has fire resistance up to 5-hours.
High Compressive Strength
Perlite concrete forms a hard and monolithic surface having at least 4 times higher compressive strength than foam concrete, giving perfect floor to apply waterproofing.
Acoustic Insulation
Reduces Airborne and Impact sound improving sound isolation properties within the screed system.
